The Pay-Per-View showdown between Baltimore, MD's Gervonta "Tank" Davis, and Leo "El Terremoto" Santa Cruz of Rosemead, CA by way of Mexico has been pushed back a week and will be held in a new location.
Originally, the bout was scheduled for Saturday, October 24th at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. Now, the bout will take place on Saturday, October 31st and will be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. Davis (23-0, 22 KO's) will put up his WBA Lightweight title while Santa Cruz (37-1-1, 19 KO's) will put his WBA Super Featherweight championship on the line.
This will be one of the first contests to be fought in front of an audience as sporting events in Texas are now allowed to have 25 percent capacity. The card had to be pushed back due to a University Of Texas-San Antonio college football game on October 24th.
This bout will headline the PPV card which will be shown on Showtime.
