Corley raises his record to 49-28-1, 28 KO's.  Harris falls to 32-12-2, 19 KO's.

On the same card, Leesburg, VA lightweight Eric "El Torito" Hernandez lost for the first time in his pro career, dropping an eight-round unanimous decision to "Mr. Marvelous" Maynard Allison of Siler City, NC.  Allison won the bout by 79-73 across the board to capture the UBF All-America Lightweight title.  Hernandez is now 9-1, five KO's.  Allison's record rises to 8-1, five KO's.

Meanwhile at the Laredo Energy Center in Laredo, TX,  Landover, MD featherweight Jordan "Shortdog" White suffered his first pro loss by a six-round unanimous decision to fellow undefeated boxer Adam Lopez of Glendale, CA in a bout that was shown on FS1.  The White camp told ProAm Fight Talk's Juan Marshall that White broke his left hand in the first round and was hampered the rest of the way.  White would lose by scores of 59-55 (twice) and 60-54.  White drops to 4-1, three KO's while Lopez is now 7-0, three KO's.

A further postscript on what took place during the co-feature at MGM National Harbor.  Leon Lawson, Jr., the uncle of Andre Dirrell who threw a punch at Dirrell's opponent, Jose Uzcategui after Uzcategui was disqualified for landing an after-the-bell punch that knocked out Dirrell, has been indefinitely suspended by the World Boxing Council for his actions.  According to ESPN.com's Dan Rafael, the WBC has suspended Lawson from participating in any WBC-sanctioned fight "in any form or manner."  Lawson is still wanted by local police for his actions.

Russell-Escandon, Davis-Walsh Schedule!

The schedule for what will take place on Saturday, May 20th at the MGM National Harbor Casino in Oxon Hill, MD is rather unique and needs some explanation.  You should know by now that there will be two Beltway Boxers defending their world titles in two separate locations and both bouts will be shown on Showtime.

Baltimore, MD's Gervonta "Tank" Davis defends his IBF Super Featherweight title against fellow undefeated boxer Liam Walsh of London, England at the Copperbox Arena in London. That bout will be followed by "Mr." Gary Russell, Jr. of Capitol Heights, MD defending his WBC Featherweight championship against Oscar Escandon of Colombia at the MGM National Harbor.

Here is how the schedule will play out on Saturday:

The doors will open at 3:45 PM ET and the first live bout at MGM will start at 4 PM.

The Davis-Walsh telecast begins at 6 PM and will be shown in the MGM Theater.

Immediately after the Davis-Walsh bout concludes, the three televised bouts will start at the MGM Theater. That includes the main event as well as the Interim IBF Super Middleweight World Championship between Andre Dirrell and  Jose Uzcategui plus two-division world champion Rances Barthelemy in a WBA 140-pound world title eliminator against Kiryl Relikh.

Wallace, Clark Battle To Majority Draw In Glen Burnie!

Beltway middleweights "Dangerous" Donald Wallace and Gregory "Glizzy" Clark put on an entertaining bout as they battled to a six-round majority draw in the main event of the Baltimore Pro Boxing card at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD.

Baltimore, MD native Wallace and Washington, DC's Clark put on a scientific card as each man spent time probing each other for openings and traded good jabs and combinations.  Neither man seemed to be able to take full control of the bout.  However, one of the judges, Steve Rados scored a shutout for Clark at 60-54.  The other two judges -- Brent Bovell and Paul Wallace -- saw the draw at 57-57.

Wallace's record is 2-0-1, one KO while Clark is now 2-1-1, one KO.

The co-feature saw undefeated Chantilly, VA lightweight Matthew "Boogieman" Bowling put on an outstanding performance in winning a four-round unanimous decision over the returning Dwayne Martin of DC.  After winning his first four bouts by first-round TKO, Bowling proved he could easily go the distance as he was able to cut the ring off on Martin and land quick, precise combinations.  Martin, who was returning to the ring after a more than seven-year absence, was a game opponent but could not keep up with Bowling who won the bout by shutout (40-36) on all three judge's cards.  Bowling is now 5-0, four KO's while Martin falls to 2-2, one KO.

Also on the card, debuting Baltimore cruiserweight Desmond Townes battled to a four-round split decision draw with Martez Williamson of Alliance, OH.  Both men were unconventional in their movements in the contest as the taller Williamson gave up his height to Townes and made things difficult.  However, the inexperienced Townes could not take advantage.  Both men had a tough time landing quality shots.  Judge Kenny Chevalier scored the bout for Townes, 39-37 while judge Paul Wallace scored it 39-37 for Williamson.  Judge Steve Rados saw the draw at 38-38.  Williamson's record is now 3-18-1.

In the opening bout on the card, super lightweight Craig Callan of Winchester, VA won a four-round unanimous decision over Howard Thompson of Shelby, NC.  Callan was more active throughout the contest and won by shutout (40-36) on all three cards.  Callan is now 3-1, two KO's while Thompson is 0-2.

Jake Smith leads Baltimore Pro Boxing.  The matchmaker was Bryan Hagan.  The ring announcer was Baltimore radio personality Kirk McEwen.

May 12th Card At Michael's Revamped!

The Baltimore Pro Boxing card that will take place on Friday, May 12th at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD has been revamped but still looks like a very interesting card.

The originally scheduled main event -- the NABA USA Cruiserweight title bout between Maryland boxers Nick Kisner and Alex Guerrero -- is off the card.  Kisner, the defending champion, suffered an injury in training.  However, the replacement main event should be a good one as Baltimore, MDsuper welterweight "Dangerous" Donald Wallace will take on Washington, DC's Gregory "Glizzy" Clark in a six-round contest.

Wallace (2-0, one KO) last fought on January 13th and won a six-round unanimous decision over Tahir Thomas at Michael's.  Clark (2-1, one KO) won by fourth-round TKO over Devin McMaster on April 4th in Bethlehem, PA.

In a four-round super lightweight contest, undefeated Glenarden, MD's Drayvontay Speed-Rawls will battle Evgueny Metchenov of Gaithersburg, MD.  Speed-Rawls (8-0-1, six KO's) stopped Rynell Griffin in the third round on March 25th in Washington, DC.  Metchenov, a native of Sofia, Bulgaria, lost his pro debut on the March 30th card at Michael's, dropping a four-round split decision to Jahmal Dyer.

West Virginia lightweight Matthew "Boogieman" Bowling returns to action as he battles the returning Dwayne Martin of Laurel, MD in a four-round contest.  Bowling (4-0, four KO's) has scored first-round knockouts in all four of his bouts.  That includes his last outing on February 4th when he stopped Richardo Dejesus in Martinsburg, WVA.  Martin (2-1, one KO) competes for the first time since January of 2010 when he won a four-round majority decision over Darrell Martin at Michael's.

In a welterweight bout, Virginia's Craig Callan will face off with Howard Thompson of Shelby, NC.  Callan (2-1, two KO's) comes off a first-round TKO over Brian Otey on October 22nd in Winchester, VA.  Thompson lost his pro debut on April 29th, dropping a four-round unanimous decision to Pedro Martinez, Jr. in Charlotte, NC.

Debuting Baltimore cruiserweight Desmond Townes will battle veteran Martez Williamson of Akron, OH (3-18) in another four-round bout.

Beltway Boxers Return To Norfolk May 13th!

A number of Beltway Boxers will be participating on a Ponytail Promotions/Shabazz Brotherz card at the Masonic Temple in Norfolk, VA on Saturday, May 13th.

There will be an all-Beltway four-round lightweight matchup between Leesburg, VA's Matthew Abregu and DC's Lamont White.  Abregu (4-0, three KO's) went the distance for the first time in his pro career in his last outing when he won a four-round majority decision over Benjamin Olinga on December 10th in Springfield, VA.  White (0-7) has never been knocked out and is coming off a four-round unanimous decision loss to Ernest Hall on March 30th in Glen Burnie, MD.

In a six-round super middleweight bout, Eric "The Immortal" Govan of Germantown, MD will take on Brandon Pennington of Virginia Beach, VA.  Govan (5-2, three KO's) will look to bounce back from a four-round unanimous decision loss to Devin Butcher on November 12th in Baltimore, MD.  Pennington (1-0) won his pro debut on December 10th in Springfield, VA capturing a four-round majority decision over Carlos Cruz.

There will be a six-round heavyweight rematch between Newport News, VA's Jerry "Slug" Forrest and Willis "The Prophet" Lockett of Takoma Park, MD.  Forrest (14-2, 12 KO's) won the first meeting between the two by four-round unanimous decision on August 25th in Virginia Beach, VA.  Forrest has not fought since that bout, however, Lockett (14-19-6, five KO's) fought to a six-round draw in his last outing on December 17th against Ed Lattimore in New Cumberland, WVA.

Other locals scheduled to be on the card are 2016 Beltway Boxing Rookie of the Year Mack "Papi" Allison IV of Baltimore, MD (7-0, seven KO's) and Seth "Killer B" Billups of Ashburn, VA (8-0, six KO's).  The card is scheduled to be headlined by veteran "Dangerous" Dorin Spivey of Portsmouth, VA (47-7, 33 KO's) in a six-round bout.  No word yet on opponents for these boxers.
