Baltimore, MD heavyweight Hasim "Gold Blooded" Rahman, Jr. won a six-round unanimous decision over Raymond "King Kong" Ochieng of West Palm Beach, FL by way of Nairobi, Kenya on Friday, August 17th at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, MN.
In going six rounds for the first time in his career, Rahman, Jr. was able to win the bout by scores of 58-55 on all three judges's cards. Rahman, Jr. took a step up in class as Ochieng was the most experienced foe and the first person Rahman, Jr. has faced with a winning record. Rahman, Jr. remains undefeated at 6-0, four KO's while Ochieng drops to 26-22-3, 21 KO's.
