Baltimore, MD cruiserweight "Slick" Nick Kisner has pulled himself from his Friday, March 30th title bout at the Palace Des Sports Marcel Cerdan in Levaillois-Perret, Hautes-De-Seine, France because of a rib injury.
Kisner posted on his Facebook page today that he suffered a rib injury during the eighth round of his March 3rd bout against Brian Holstein in Columbus, OH. After checking with his doctor, Kisner was deemed unable to compete in the March 30th contest, which was scheduled to be for the vacant WBA Inter-Continental Cruiserweight title against French boxer Herve Lofidi.
