Gary Antaunne Russell has advanced to the third round of the Olympic Qualifier in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Russell scored a first-round TKO over Girmachew Bahiru Tedesse of Ethiopia in Sunday's second-round contest. Russell stopped Tedesse at 2:58 of the round.
Russell can move into the quarterfinals on Tuesday if he defeats David Biddle of Australia.
