Accokeek, MD super welterweight "Swift" Jarrett Hurd put on another exceptional performance in scoring a 10th round TKO over previously undefeated Oscar Molina of Norwalk, CA tonight in front of a nationally-televised audience (CBS) at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Hurd got off to a great start scoring a knockdown in the first round with a vicious right uppercut. Molina was able to survive the knockdown but was outgunned throughout the rest of the contest. Hurd showed a great chin, seemingly walking through many of Molina's shots.
In the 10th round, Hurd, who had never gone past seven rounds in his career, completed his dominance by landing combinations that forced referee Ricky Gonzalez to stop the bout at 2:02.
Hurd remains undefeated at 18-0, 12 KO's. Molina drops to 13-1-1, 10 KO's.
