Ballard (12-0, eight KO's) last fought on March 5 and scored a second-round TKO over Leosvy Mayedo in Washington, DC. Fonseca (9-7-1, seven KO's) has lost four in a row including a six-round unanimous decision loss to Antonio Gutierrez on October 2 in Los Angeles, CA.
