Davis (right) weighed in at 127 pounds for his six-round contest against German Meraz that will be the opening contest on the ESPN2 telecast that begins at 9 PM ET. Meraz came in at 125
Jackson-Benson (left) tipped the scales at 172 pounds for his eight-round contest against Michael Gbenga, who came in at 174.
Also, in a bout recently added to the card, "The Berlin Bomber" Joshua Snyder (9-9-1, three KO's) of Berlin, MD weighed 155 for his six-round contest against undefeated Justin DeLoach of Georgia, LA (8-0, four KO's). DeLoach weighed 156 pounds.
By the way, the main event on the card -- the IBF Middleweight title bout between champion Sam Soliman and former champion Jermain Taylor -- will be refereed by one of the good friends of the Beltway, Bill Clancy. Clancy, who lives in North Carolina, has refereed numerous bouts in Maryland and Virginia over the years.
