Bouts Added To November 15 Patriot Center Card!

Some interesting bouts have been added to the Saturday, November 15 card at the George Mason University Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA.

In an all-Virginia junior welterweight showdown, "The Baby-Faced Assassin" Yurii Polischuk of Alexandria battles Juan "The Savior' Rodriguez of Haymarket in a six-round contest.  Polischuk (6-1-1, two KO's) just fought on October 11 and won a six-round unanimous decision over Benjamin Olinga at the ABC Sports Complex in Springfield, VA.  Rodriguez (5-2-1, four KO's) returns to action for the first time since October of 2012 when he won a four-round unanimous decision over Damon Antoine in Arlington, VA.

Also on the card, undefeated Frederick, MD super middleweight Devar "The Warrior" Ferhadi returns to action in a four-round bout against veteran Jess "Thunder" Noriega of Lynchburg, VA. The last outing for Ferhadi (3-0, two KO's) was in April of 2013 when he won a four-round unanimous decision over PJ Cajigas in Upper Marlboro, MD.  Noriega (3-11, three KO's) broke a six-bout losing streak with a first-round knockout win over Cam Hoback on October 4 in Lynchburg.

Two out-of-town veterans will face each other in a special attraction contest.  "The Chosen One" Ronald Hearns of Southfield, MI battles Jonathan "Reid Dawg" Reid of Nashville, TN.  Both men are in desperate need of a win -- Hearns (26-5, 20 KO's) has been stopped in each of his last four bouts while Reid (35-15, 19 KO's) has just one win in his last 11 contests.

Hearns, the son of hall of fame champion Thomas Hearns, has ties to the DC area as he played basketball at American University.  Reid makes his fourth trip to the Patriot Center and his last bout was in the greater Beltway region when he was stopped in the eighth round against Scott Sigmon in Winchester, VA.

This card features the rematch between Tony Jeter and Jimmy Lange along with bouts featuring DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley, Tori "Sho Nuff" Nelson and Todd "White Lightning" Wilson.
