It did take more than one punch this time, but not too many more. Palmer Park, MD featherweight Kevin "K-Smoov" Rivers, Jr. used strong punching power to drop Providence, RI's Alan Beeman twice en route to a first-round TKO.
Rivers dropped Beeman with a solid right hand to the body and later finished the job with a right hand to the head that dropped Beeman to one knee and waving off the bout himself. The bout was stopped at 1:39 of the first.
Rivers is now 3-0, two KO's while Beeman is 0-6.
