Silver Spring, MD light heavyweight George "El Gallo" Armenta won a six-round split decision over Philadelphia, PA's Charles Hayward last night at the National Guard Armory in Philadelphia.
Armenta won two of the judges's scorecards 58-56. Hayward took one card by the same score. Armenta breaks a three-bout losing streak with the win and raises his record to 14-7, 11 KO's. Hayward falls to 7-3, three KO's.
