Former WBO Junior Welterweight champion DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley lost an eight-round split decision to welterweight prospect Andre Gorges of Windsor, Ontario this past Tuesday at the Shaw Festival black-tie fundraiser in Toronto, Canada.
One judge scored the bout 77-75 for Corley but the other two judges saw the bout 78-74 for Gorges.
Corley is now 37-17-1, 22 KO's and has lost four in a row. Gorges wins his second straight split decision and is now 11-1, six KO's.
