Undefeated Beltway middleweights Fernando Guerrero and Dominic Wade maintained their quick winning ways, scoring TKOs tonight at the Fitzgerald's Casino in Tunica, MS.
Guerrero used a blistering body attack to score a third-round TKO over Chris Archer of Tarentum, PA. Guerrero scored three knockdowns and one standing eight-count as Archer had no answer for Guerrero's blistering attack. The bout was stopped at 2:15 of the third.
Guerrero's record rises to 15-0, 13 KO's while Archer is now 11-8, seven KO's.
As has been his custom, Wade jumped all over his opponent, Tyrone Dowdy of Memphis, TN early and used a left hand to cut his opponent within the first 90 seconds. Moments later, Wade landed a solid right hand that caused the referee to give a standing-eight count to Dowdy. Wade maintained his barrage until the Dowdy corner threw in the towel at 2:25 of the first round.
Wade is now 4-0 with four KO's. Three have come in the first and one in the second. Dowdy is 4-20, three KO's.
