Takoma Park, MD's Willis "The Prophet" Lockett lost an eight-round unanimous decision to Jerson Ravelo tonight at Bally's in Atlantic City, NJ.
In a bout that Fightnews.com Feature Writer Kurt Wolfheimer called "uninspiring," Ravelo won the bout by scores of 80-72, 79-73, and 77-75.
With the loss, Lockett is now 12-9-5, five KO's while Ravelo is 20-4, 12 KO's.

I think Lockett can hold his head up. I had Jers winning by dec. Jers is a very talented fighter although he prob hasn't lived up to expectations yet. And although he was a last minute replacement, Jers was already in training.
Keep moving forward Willis...its just a bump. And like someone else said...at least you didn't pull out. You came to fight.

This post sounds like it came from a 12 year old. Mackey & Lockett's beliefs are really none of your business. Keep it to boxing. Lockett is a boxer. Boxers are active and they sweat. Both are two of the nicest and most focused and good boxers around.
I think he carries that bible around praying he doesnt get knocked out

why are you defending these two bums? yea they might not complain cause they just want to show up and get paid. They cant win against these prospects, where are there skills?
Both these guys are far from bums
and I have my doubts if alot of fighters in the area would climb in the ring with them.I don't really want to get into a debate about their abilities as fighters
it's just that the crying and whining I have had to listen to over the years makes me appreciate
these two guys as fighters and as people in general.
