Former WBO Junior Welterweight champion DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley will appear in a nationally televised ESPN2 co-feature on Friday, April 10 against undefeated prospect Hector Sanchez at the Desert Diamond Casino in Phoenix, AZ.
Corley (33-10-1, 19 KO's) has won his last two bouts, including a seven-round TKO over Wilson Enrique Galli in East Rutherford, NJ on February 3. Sanchez, a native of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico (17-0, eight KO's) has not fought since December 13, 2008 when he stopped Wilson Alcorro in the fourth round in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. Earlier in his career, Sanchez fought in DC on April 27, 2007 and won a four-round unanimous decision over Armando Cordoba at the DC Armory.
