Former two-time WBC Middleweight champion Keith Holmes weighed in at 167 pounds for his bout with Tito "El Misil" Mendoza today during the WBA "KO Drugs" Festival in Panama City, Panama.
Despite the fact that Mendoza tipped the scales at 175 pounds, both men will battle for the vacant FEDALATIN Super Middleweight title.
This will be an interesting card. Former world champion Evander Holyfield will box a three-round exhibition with the president of the WBA, Gilberto Jesus Mendoza. Another former world champ, Michael Moorer, is also on the card in a sanctioned bout.
And they will also have the semi-final bouts of the Panamanian version of "The Contender" called "El Primer Guerrero."
