The King's Promotions/Keystone Boxing card that was originally scheduled for Saturday, August 6 has been postponed until Friday, August 19 in the same location.
The featured bouts remain the same -- Myke "The Professor" Fox of Forestville, MD (10-0, two KO's) vs. Somner "Magic Man" Martin of Martinsburg, VA (5-2, three KO's) in an eight-round super lightweight main event and the six-round all-Maryland heavyweight co-feature between Luther "Lights Out" Smith of Bowie (5-0, four KO's) and Mike "Silverback" Balogun of Upper Marlboro (6-0, five KO's).
A few additions and subtractions to this card, possibly because of the new date. The card is slated to mark the first Beltway appearance of Washington, DC bantamweight Jordan "Shortdog" White (2-0, two KO's) in a four-round encounter. White, however, is scheduled to be on a card on Saturday, July 9 at the Sun Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ. White's opponent is Juan Carlos Benavides of Sonora, Mexico (5-8-1, two KO's).
Also, Owings Mills, MD heavyweight Colby Madison has been added to the card. Madison (2-0, one KO) won his last bout by four-round unanimous decision to Lonnie Kornegay on May 14 in Timonium, MD.
Frederick, MD cruiserweight Darnell Pierce is no longer on the card.
