Baltimore, MD super middleweight Cory "Black Ice" Cummings has signed with KO Kings, a promotional company based in Atlanta, GA.
Cummings (17-5-1, 13 KO's) has been in some outstanding bouts in his nine years as a pro. The former Maryland Super Middleweight champion has faced three former world champions -- William Joppy, Keith Holmes and Montel Griffin -- and was involved in the 2009 Beltway Boxing Bout of the Year when he scored a dramatic ninth-round TKO over Demetrius Davis to win the Maryland Super Middleweight title on May 24 at Du Burns Arena in Baltimore.
Cummings has not been active since his two bouts with Joppy in November of 2010 and March of 2011 at the George Mason University Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA. The first bout went to a 10-round draw and Joppy won the second by 10-round unanimous decision.

Congratulations....I was just inquiring about Black Ice..His first fight with Joppy at the Patriot Center was exciting. The fight could have gone either way but the draw was a good decision. When is his next fight.
Have not heard yet. Hopefully, we'll find out soon.
I've spoken to representatives of KO Kings who say Cummings will be in action in May. No word yet on when, where or who.
