Landover, MD junior welterweight D'Andre Davis has begun his quest to continue the family boxing legacy as he scores a second-round TKO over Coy Lambert of Columbia, SC.
Davis showed extremely fast hands from the opening bell. Davis never knocked Lambert down and Lambert did suffer a bloody nose, but Lambert's corner decided to stop the contest at 44 seconds of the second round.
Davis, the grandson of legendary trainer Adrian Davis and the nephew of great Beltway Boxers Victor and Demetrius, is now 1-0, one KO. Lambert is 0-2.
Up next: The All-Beltway battle between District Heights, MD's Renaldo Gaines and Darrell Martin of Baltimore.
