This is definitely Lamont Peterson's bout to win. He has put himself into position to do so. Khan's experience in championship bouts may be the only thing that saves him and his title. Some in the crowd are already shouting "And the NEW....!"

Wow! This blog/comments called it earlier in the week that the hometown ref would be controversial... good fight and sucks it came down to the penalties... But the pushing looked flagrant and Khan was putting him in a headlock all the time... Beltway Boxin' is alive... Represent and Rematch!!!!
While I wouldn't go as far as calling it home cookin', the perception of having a hometown ref with hometown fighter for a world title fight is not a good one. When the hometown ref's point deductions are the margin of victory, it begs for claims of bias. Why even risk that perception?
