Big win over the weekend for Takoma Park, MD's Darnell "The Ding-A-Ling Man" Wilson as he won a 10-round majority decision over former WBC Cruiserweight champion Juan Carlos Gomez. The bout took place in Hamburg, Germany this past Saturday.
Two judges scored the bout 96-94 in favor of Wilson, who broke a six-bout losing streak which included his time on the final season of "The Contender." Wilson is now 24-12-3, 20 KO's. Gomez is now 49-3, 37 KO's.
