As BATB first told you, DC welterweight Dusty Harrison is slated to make his pro debut on June 11. Harrison will barely be 17 when that takes place and he will be the youngest currently competing pro in the country. There is and has been some debate here and elsewhere about this.
On the flipside, we saw two older boxers perform vastly different in the ring recently. Bernard Hopkins became the oldest man to win a world title while Roy Jones (though not as old as Hopkins) was crushed in his last outing.

Old or young... depends on the individual. I'm not sure anyone thinks Holyfield should be in the ring... no one wants to look at a older boxer who has brain issues because he boxed past his prime.
Of course, some simply won't stop unless they simply "can't". Hard getting older... I know... you don't "feel" older in the brain, but you know your body is a bit slower sometimes, but you make up for it with experience.
Past I relied on quick reflexes... now I have vast experiences to pull.
