The 165-pounder from Baltimore punched her ticket to the Pan Am's by defeating Blanca Burgos of Ecuador, 9-8 yesterday in a semifinal qualifier Tuesday in Quito, Ecuador.

Arsenal, do you think USA has a good mens team at the quailifier? No they don't. The team was put together because of a stupid law suit brought by a female boxer who wasn't on the original team and she didn't make the team after they had a last minute box-off due to her lawsuit. So the team USA has trying to quailify will be lucky to get 3 male boxers at the Pan Am games. USA Boxing has some big problems and it's not getting better.
I don't think that was what Arsenal was referring to. It was a disparaging comment toward Franchon Crews--one I have taken off the site.
