The Friday, September 17 bout between Baltimore middleweights Jessie "The Beast" Nicklow and "Vicious" Julius Kennedy at Du Burns Arena in Baltimore will not only be for the Maryland State Middleweight title but will now also be for the vacant World Boxing Foundation (WBF) All-Americas title.
In a related story, I have the honor of being asked to serve as the WBF Supervisor in attendance for the championship bout. I will be presenting the belt to the winner after the contest.

I have never heard of this organization.where did they come from?
www.worldboxingfoundation.com
Cassandra White has promoted a number of WBF title bouts. In fact, she was named the WBF Promoter of the Year in 2009.
They were founded in Australia in 2004. Their headquarters is in Melbourne.
Way to plug the lady promoter.
Just to be clear, Cassandra White is not the promoter of this show. This is in fact a co-promotion with Baltimore Pro Boxing and Prize Fight Promotions.
doesn't Evander Holyfield hold the heavy weight version of this organization's belt?
Not at the moment. That title is vacant. Holyfield is not even in their rankings.
That's what is wrong with boxing. All of these alphabet groups that nobody ever heard of. I wish for the days of 12 weight classes and one champion. Actually in the old days they only had 8 weight classes but I think 12 is a good number not the 16 or so they got in pro boxing now.
Anybody know who the middelweight or heavyweight champion of the world is now? Nope, me either.
evander holyfield defeated francois ambang for the wbf heavyweight world title, this bout is for the wbf all americas which is no the wbf world title. the wbf all americas is like a regional title
