Best of luck (although luck isn't a factor in boxing; it's skill) to the participants..... Bring home some medals and/or trophies.
Good luck to all the PVA boxer's competing in the tournament. And also to Ms. Douglas who is also from D.C.
D'MITRIUS BALLARD IS ALSO IN THE TOURNAMENT REPRESENTING THE DMV.
That's true. Ballard is an at-large selection and Kevin Rivers is there as a defending champ.
Anne Gibon, former hwt national champ from the Naval Academy is back again at the nationals to reclaim her title.
I couldn't find Anne's name on the roster.
I hear Jerry Odom just stopped his opponent going into the last round after being down by 13 points. Can anyone confirm?
34-9 Mr. Odom was loosing, Odom comes out in 3rd. round with nothing to lose and everything to gain. Odom lands a vicious right hand to the temple and knocks guy out cold. Mr. Odom has knock out power in either hand>
