Registration for 2010 Washington Golden Gloves Begins Saturday!
Registration and physical exams for the 2010 Washington Golden Gloves will take place over the next two Saturdays -- January 30 and February 6 -- from 9 AM to Noon at the Hillcrest Heights Bingo Hall, 4104 23rd Parkway in Hillcrest Heights, MD. Please be on time. It's 9-12 SHARP!

Gary, if a fighter does not show up on January 30 to show up, can they still sign up on February 6?
yes, you can register on the 30th. or the 6th.
A total of $25.00
15 for the doctor
10 for regerstration
You must have 2010 stickers in your book. they cost $40.00

what do you mean "2010" stickers?
i got registered at my last fight and paid 50 dollars only? What do the stickers mean?-thanks alot, really appreciate it.
If you have not registered in 2010, you have to pay another 40 in PVA. Not sure what So Atlantic is charging. If ur last fight was in December and u registered u only were registered for the rest of 2009.
i just got a new sticker in dec 3rd and u telling me i got 2 get a new 1 already. u bumped you f%$#@& head. F&%$# you and the gold gloves u aint ripping me off.

Pink sticker is for 2010. If you just got a yellow in Dec, then yes you have to get another one. USA boxing registration is only good for the current calendar year.
Sorry for being off topic, but can anyone tell me anything of Spencer Blanks, former boxing promoter / manager from Stafford Va. I was a fighter of his in the 80's.

Are Feb 6 registrations being pushed back due to the snow storm?
Also, can I get my '10 sticker at the registration?
How does a fan find out where and when the 2010 matches are ?
The Washington Golden Gloves are slated to begin on Saturday, February 20th at the Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing Center in Palmer Park, MD.
Last year, the organizers were very good in giving me bout sheets every week, hopefully that will be the case again this year.

i know it is too late to sign up now, but next year, since i am not apart of a club nor a member of usa boxing can i just show up to register for the tournament and bring about $75 to cover for everything?
