Gary how did he die?
No official word was given yet.
I hope it wasn't from injuries from his last fight. And if it was that was just the straw that broke the camel's back, he was damaged goods going in to the bout. I know that when he fought Palma he was a neurological disaster waiting to happen. He was walking on his heels, he talked funny (and I realize he has a French Canadian accent but there was definite thickness to his speech) and he just looked terrible. With that said, he was too big and too strong for Palma and beat him with ease. I was in the locker room after he beat Palma and he was throwing punches and shadow boxing after the fight! He was so excited that he won that fight! Rest in peace young man.
Don't know. 3 weeks after a bout doesn't seem medically possible. I bet you that if he was found dead or in a comatose state that he took some bad shots in a sparring session. That coupled with the possible damage of his career could have done it. Even if it was some other accident it's said to see a 30 year old die.
It wasn't any of the above.
any boxer is a lose
It's Me Jaime Palma R.I.P S.H God bless ur Family......
I heard it was suicide. Any truth to that?
Just read about his passing tonight. I had fought at a few events on the same card as he and became a good friend. I know in conversations I had with him he was getting weary of shots he had taken throughout especially in the latter part of his career. My condolensces goes out to his family and God bless. All in all a great guy and friend. Will be deeply missed and always remembered.
Anyone ever find out how he died?
