Just thought I'd share with you this milestone. The preceding post about the Beltway Boxing Prospect of the Year was the 2,000th post that I have made to Boxing Along The Beltway. Not bad for an almost five-year period.

Thier are going to be two exciting bouts wednesday at the Rosecroft Raceway, the final two bout's for the silver gloves. First bout will be Malik Jackson from the Limelight gym against Marquell Tyler from the Headbanger's, the second bout will be Kareem Martin from the Headbanger's against Dusty Harrisson from Old school. These two bout's should be very exciting!!! Let's wish all four young men the best of luck.
DUSTY HARRISON OF OLD SCHOOL BEAT KAREEM MARTIN OF HEADBANGERS MALIK OF LIME LITE BEAT MARQUEL TYLER;HYPE WILL ONLY GET NOISE/TRUE GYMS GET RESULTS;U CAN ONLY FOOL YORSELF INTO BEING UR GREATS FAN
Both matches were very competitive, and hard fought. Dusty and Kareem's bout could have went either way, I thought Dusty pulled it out in the third round. Malik was very impressive against Marquell who also showed a lot of heart and a lot of skill. It's a shame someone has to loose and miss out on the regional's, because all four boxer's have the skill to dominate in any other region.
