Finally, there is an opponent for the "Mongolian Mongoose" Bayan Jargal. The undefeated lightweight out of Arlington, VA will take on veteran Richard "Tiger" Lee Hall of Rocky Mount, NC in a six-round contest on Saturday, September 26 at the George Mason University Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA.
Jargal (13-0-1, nine KO's) is coming off a fifth-round TKO over Josh Durden on July 25 in Hilton Head, SC. Hall (10-21-2, six KO's) is in a rough stretch of his career having gone winless in his last nine. Hall's last outing was a first-round TKO loss to Jessie Nicklow in February of 2008 in Pikesville, MD.
Jargal will be the eighth Beltway Boxer Hall has faced in his career. Hall's last win came against Antonio Reese in December of 2004. Hall won an eight-round split decision. Hall also defeated Ricardo Edmonds via fourth-round TKO in November of 2001 in Glen Burnie, MD. Along with Nicklow, Hall has lost to Tim Coleman, Ishmail Arvin, Marlon Haynes and Cliff Richard.
On Thursday, BATB will have the complete lineups for both championship cards for the weekend.

Good for Bayan. Good for the card. While it appears a low-risk matchup on paper, Bayan and his team are smart enough not to approach it as such, especially with this relatively short notice. The Patriot Center fights have always been made strong by their undercards. And more than most, scratching the Jargal bout for lack of an opponent would have been a blow.
Go Bayan!
The card should be entertaining. I was looking forward to Chop Chop v Fuller. Oh well maybe in the future! Anxious too see "Mo Better"
is bayan ever going to fight a live body. The kid is good, he doesnt need to be fed these tomatoe cans every fight.
well for you smart boxing critics you must not follow Real Boxing .It is hard to match a prospect like Jargal because nobody wants to fight him,so you keep him busy and build his record until you can get a big fight.
its obvious none of you went to the fight. Richard Hall took it to his a$$. Jargal is over rated and has fought 13 bums before richard. They gave him a draw because they felt sorry for him...no1 is scared to fight Jargal. Hes a wild boxer at best
