why would you take a fight on nationals television against an amateur Olympian - from Cuba no less - who also has over 300 amateur fights. that just shows you what he thinks of his "career". It was a pretty bad 69 seconds too.
Hey, the man had an opportunity and went for it. Just because you get beat, ko'ed even, doesn't mean the end of a career. Tonights fights are an example. Keep your head up Keith!!!
just watched on youtube. kieth will be alright, hes strong and will make a comebeck soon
not blaming him, just questioning the choice.
the point was, what positive results did he expect taking that fight. Opportunity for what exactly? it's not the end of his career at all - didn't say that, but it just seems that move shows that he is in it for $$$ (not a bad thing at all) and doesn't mind being an opponent. After a 3-0 start, I would have thought he and his team could have made a better choice too.
there is nothing wrong with going for the $$, but usually those decisions come later after some fights under your belt
$1,800 was not worth it!
he should be able to recover; it was a quick knockout. he didn't take a beating. what's important is what he does now.
Points taken. Just wanted to make sure he didn't get bashed because he is a hard-working, good Brother. Peace.
1800.00 WAS NOT WORTH THE BEAT DOWN.
I don't blame Keith I blame his advisors and trainers for taking this fight what were they thinking Keith is talented but he is just getting back into this was a horrible decision on their part
You can say what you want. It was a bad night for Keith and I wish him well. BUT I am now a fan of the Cuban connection. Out of all the defected boxers that fought - Lara is tops! He was calm and has pure power!!
Yeah i wish keith the best as well however he will never be any good with the level of training he is getting have any of these guys ever trained a fighter before looks like they just wanted to get on TV be careful what you wish for clowns
