Boxingtalk.com is reporting that Capitol Heights, MD super middleweight Henry "Sugar Poo" Buchanan will take on 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist Andre Ward on Friday, February 6 at the Tachi Palace in Lemoore, CA.
The bout will be a 12-round bout for the NABO Super Middleweight championship and will be a nationally televised ShoBox matchup on Showtime.
The two boxers have almost identical won-loss records. Buchanan is 17-1, 12 KO's and is coming off a ninth-round TKO over Brian Norman on June 25 in Beverly Hills, CA. Ward, a resident of Oakland, CA, is undefeated at 17-0, 12 KO's. Ward has knocked out his last seven opponents.

Poo's job is two-fold...win fights and sell tickets. Some of his tactics or even posts on this blog is a turn off. Negitivity begetes negativity and in this case, begat even more negativity from on the previous post. As someone selling a commodity, Poo needs to examine the actions he took that prompted the initial 'P to the O to the O" post.
Poo is truly a decent person. He helps the young amateur boxers all the time. He will give you the shirt off of his back. A very honest person!!!

More importantly, nobody will pay money to see a jerk fight. It's one thing to use certain tactics to get into your opponents head, but its not good for business to use those tactics against potential ticket buyers...
