In his return to coverage of the Beltway Boxing scene, "Bad" Brad Berkwitt of RingsideReport.com filed this report from the Babie Girl Productions card at Howard University's Burr Gymnasium. The report also features great photos from RSR Photographer Eric Fleming.

Hats off to Cassandra White for putting on a great show for the DC area. That card was loaded with established talent and new talent. What more could a boxing fan want for $25.00 dollars. Hey…Gary there was even a clown that showed up getting his face painted before he started flipping chairs and standing on a basketball rim support. We’ve spent too much time on an irrelevant fighter…the Big Ticket Dewayne McRae is the fighter we should be talking about. McRae has the talent and the ability to represent the DC area in the heavyweight division; not just be a contender, but become a real champion. The fight with J. Felton went the way it was going to go. If he did not go in the first round he would have gone to sleep in the second. He should be glad to take his purse money and be able to spend Christmas with his family. DR
this is j felton, one round dont make nobody a contender d.r. how about a rematch i will do it for free or give him my little bit of carrots that i get offered... yes he won round one for sure but he didnt , couldnt win a 4 round fight with me him or ray grant without help.. plain and simple... you see nobody looks out for me and i like my position i play my part... BUT IF ALL YOUR PROSPECTS THINK I AM A EASY WIN.. LETS SEE IN 2009 NOW I GOT SOMETHING TO TRAIN FOR... IVE GIVEN GUYS WIN FOR NONTHING, LETS SEE IN 2009 IN HEAVYWEIGHTS UP AND COMING IN THE BELTWAY CAN FIND ME... ANYWHERE..
