I have just one thing to say about mr. roy........CHECK YOUR CONTRACT!!!!!!!!HAHAHAHA
roy i dont think you can take that fight, your on contract.unless you can pay your way out of it.TO BAD!!!
I had read about this fight on boxrec about a week ago, and have been waiting for the anouncement on this page. FINALLY!!! It looks as if there is some sort of conflict of interest on whom exactly is representing this fighter, and I will leave that one well enough alone, except for the fact that he has been carefully guided to an undefeated record, and that says something good about the person that was taking care of him so to speak. We all know who that person is, so there is no need to mention specific names. There is no loyalty in this business, and fighters jump from person to person looking for their best deal, which is usually a bunch of false promises. I have said this before, and I will say it again, it seems as if the Virginia fighters do not understand the concept of safe fights to pad their record while slowly climbing up the ranks. Terry Roy is not ready to fight someone with an undefeated record, I have been to most of his fights, and while he wins, he still has progress to make, and is still learning the sport. It puts me in some sort of a moral dilema, while being a local fighter I tend to like him, yet if he is jumping ship and not honoring an agreement, I have no choice but to root against him. Someone please advise accordingly what exactly is going on here.
Clearly this is a decision based on money. The sad thing is that if you are going to jump ship for more money, why go do it on a Starfight show. They do not pay very much. Look at Tyrone Watson- he fights Guerrero for 4500. on Showtime, performs well but loses, and now he is fighting in AC this week against Danny Jacobs and getting 8k to get beat. I wonder what T-Brick is getting to go to Florida as the supposed to be beat opponent?
probably 2 grand, Starfight is cheap. if you are going for the money, then go for it, 8-0 record in the right place should be worth more than chump change. 8k for a 7-2 guy is pretty good if you just want to be an opponent.
Scott Farmer just let the man fight. He is going to get beat anyway when he stops fighting bums. But good luck anyway, hope you come back with a victory.T-Brick did you get a contract Bonus.
contract bonus? how can you expect something like that when you can't even sell your own family tickets? huh you peopl are funny if i were scott farmer i wouldn't let his ass fight anywhere! he needs to remember where he got his record from. Who got him those bums? He is a joke
Was he the first to jump that Titanic? Come on people.
Why is no one, asking well, "Jeez Terry why would you even think of bailin' on such a sweet "bum" record?
I don't think it has as much to do with $$ as respect.
Terry, Hold that big powerful head high and do what you must."
Respect!
How can you respect someone who beats people in his neighborhood
up.And who started a fight with a seventeen year old kid and then had him locked up when he knifed
him.Respect!give me a break please.

Guess YOU didn't respect him.
Let me set the record straight
Terry Roy has my blessings to fight wherever and whenever he wants.
Scott Farmer
I wish Scott Farmer was my promoter...
T-Brick BEST of luck and know you will ROCK FL! I will be giving you a call in the next couple of days. Bring yourself and us a win!
Boxbible has me all turned around on how to use Kudo (s)...
So NODS to Scott for being gracious and bringing so (and letting go?) so much to boxing...
Beyond hungry to see you, ANDREW, and your next fight!
Terry are you fighting in FL or what.Who is your promotor for this fight.
As of this past Saturday when I talked to him, the bout is definitely on in Florida.
The promoter for the card is Pete Fernandez of Starfight Promotions.
Wow! After reading these posted comments, I'm left in awe at how strongly people 'hate' in our surrounding area. T-Brick must be something special, or 18 hatin bloggers wouldn't have spent so much time trying to scandalize his name. I don't know much about the politics of boxing...who or who not are bums, padding records, tactics used for higher purses or respect etc., but I thought it was a sport. I would think that the best promoter in the industry would have a pure interest in his client & build them into a great boxer. Showing an interest, would be them being in the corner to cheer, encourage and instruct. I've been to almost all of T-Brick's fights and only remember seeing Scott Farmer in his corner a couple of times. That speaks loudly. All I'm saying now, is I'm a Front Royal native, commend Terry on following his heart for the sport and encourage you with these words... "Go to Florida with your head up, do your very best and don't receive any of the negative words from folk. Those who throw insults are the real bums. Their talk is noise, it's weapons that shall not prosper!! Be blessed, stay up and look up!
I personally think y'all are all haters!!! WE have never been HATERS but we have LOVE for them becuse y'all just make us famous! Terry is a good fighter; but just to make a long story short... thanks for hating && come again!!
