DC 110-pounder Dusty Harrison has won his opening-round bout at the National Junior Golden Gloves last night in Mesquite, NV.
Harrison defeated John Brent of Nevada by points to advance to Friday's semi-finals.
Another Beltway Boxer -- Brady "The Bulldog" Sensibaugh -- has already advanced to Saturday's final in the 80-pound class.

ACCORDING TO 2008 JR NATIONAL GOLDEN GLOVES RESULTS. BOTH BRADY SENSIBAUGH AND DUSTY HARRISON WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT. BOTH ARE IN FINALS SAT. NIGHT AT THE CASABLANCA CASINO. THE WORD IS THAT BOTH MAY LOSE TONIGHT AGAINST VERY TOUGH FIGHTERS FROM EAST LA.
