Two of Virginia's best prospects will be part of a Pro-Motion Sports Promotions card on Saturday, August 9 at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, VA.
Headlining the show will be Front Royal, VA junior welterweight Andrew "The Doo Man" Farmer (10-1, seven KO's). Farmer will battle undefeated "Lightning" Rod Salka of Bunola, PA. (6-0, two KO's) in a scheduled eight-round contest. Farmer has not fought since stopping Edward Anderson in the third round on February 23 at the Winchester Sportsplex in Winchester, VA. Salka is coming off a four-round unanimous decision victory over Jose Caraballo on May 30 in Monroeville, PA. This will be the first scheduled eight-round contest for both men. Salka has never been past four rounds in his career.
This card will also mark the return of undefeated Front Royal cruiserweight Terry "T-Brick" Roy (7-0-1, six KO's). Roy has not fought since November of 2007 because he has been recovering from injuries suffered in an altercation at his home last December. Roy will battle undefeated Danville, VA native Jaywon Woods (7-0, five KO's) in a six-round contest.
Also slated for this card will be Salisbury, MD lightweight Randolph Scott (0-1). Scott, who lost his pro debut by majority decision to Gerald Smith on June 6 in Philadelphia, PA, will be facing the debuting David Hopkins of Roanoke, VA in a four-round contest.

Looking forward to seeing you guys fight again!
Digital, will you by chance do a Gab Cast with this promoter?
More than likely. I will be talking to them as well as the new ones in DC.
Coolness. Look forward to seeing you at both fights!
How come you guys don't use the kid Bayan Jargnal he is from Virginia and looks like he has a little following. I would like to see him and Doo-Man fight before the end of the year. Maybe on a Big Jimmy Lange card,it would draw alot of fans.
That would be an interseting one wouldn't it?
It would be an interesting fight between The Doo and Byan.
You can believe one thing, that both guys are going to have to be paid very well to fight each other.
I think that everyone in the area
agrees that these are the two top 140 pound prospects in the area other than maybe Lamont Peterson.
Andrew has his hands full right now with that Guy Salka from Pittsburg on August 9 in Roanoke.
Let him battle one person at a time . I think Scott Farmer is trying to put Jargal on that card
also.
Bayan Jargal looks like he is scheduled to be on the Sept. 19 card in Millersville, MD. But something else may come up in the interim.
i hope Scott Farmer puts that kid Bayan Jargnal on his show that would get alot of buzz going around town like back in the day Ray Leonard vs Johnny Gant ,Lloyd "Honey Boy"Taylor vs Boo Boo Sawyer, Maurice Blocker Vs Simon Brown, Vincent Pettaway Vs Simon Brown,Boone Pultz Vs Jake Smith( Just Kidding about this one)but DooMan and Jargnal would be a great fight for the area.
Jake Smith? Was he ever a fighter? That big cheese burger looking guy.
Jake Smith the fighting Cheeseburger, that shit kills me man.Jake Smith could bust and move
in the ring.
And you should have seen him in the disco era with his big collars and plaid bellbottom pants.
That guy was smoother than silk.
YESSSS!!!!! Andrew "Doo Man" Farmer fights are the best ever! I can't wait to see him shine. T-Brick is fighting to get ahead too, I will be ringside for sure.
"Sparkplug"
hey let me tell you t-brick is going to bring the crowd to there feet when he do return to full duty lol get ready for the shit to hit the fan he is the best love him to death
