For the second straight year, a Beltway Boxer will be part of the annual boxing card at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, CA.
Capitol Heights, MD super middleweight Henry "Sugar Poo" Buchanan (14-1, 11 KO's) will be in the co-feature bout at the annual invitation-only event on Wednesday, June 25. Buchanan will be in the 10-round co-feature that will be part of the ESPN2 telecast. His opponent is slated to be Derrick "Superman" Findley of Gary, IN (11-2, six KO's).
In February of 2007, Tony "The Tiger" Thompson was in the main event of this card and captured the WBC Continental Americas Heavyweight title with a 10-round unanimous decision over Timor Ibragimov.
By the way, this means we have confirmed that six Beltway Boxers will make TV appearances this summer. This includes three during the seven-day period from June 20-27 (Corey Cummings - June 20, Buchanan and Anthony Peterson - June 26)
