It will be a hard road for all three Beltway Olympic hopefuls to win berths on the Olympic team.
Tonight in Houston, TX, both Fernando Guerrero and Dominic Wade lost their second-round bouts at the Olympic Trials and now are in the Challenger's Bracket of the 165-pound division.
Guerrero lost to Downey, CA's Shawn Estrada by decision, 20-12. Wade fell to Daniel Jacobs of Brooklyn, NY also by decision, 18-10.
Estrada and Jacobs will meet in tomorrow's Winner's Bracket championship. Guerrero and Wade join Shawn Porter of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Zach Hardrick of Fort Carson, CO in the Challenger's Bracket. Newark, NJ's Angel Santos and Jonathan Nelson of Little Rock, AR have been eliminated because they have two losses.
