Monday's editions of the Washington Post will have a nice profile of Salisbury, MD's Fernando Guerrero.
Reporter Katie Carrera chronicles the 20-year-old US 165-pound champion's path from his birthplace in the Dominican Republic through Salisbury to the US Olympic Trials that begin Monday in Houston, TX.

I knew this would make it. I seen him destroy Dominic Wade here at Sugar Rays Gym. I knew right there that he was a tough boxer. Now I know why Wade refused to fight him again in Colorado. It looks like Wade might have to box him in Texas, unless he says his hand hurts and he has stomach cramps again. I feel sorry for Wade! He will never last 4 rounds with this animal. Good Luck to you all, and I hope none of you get hurt and all is well.
Its payback time. Wade will get Laid. Round 2 and Wade is thru.
Round 3 and its all over sweet pee.
Round four, he screams please no more...
Good article. Digital, please let us know how Guerrero (as well as Wade and Russell) do.
Congradulations to Fernando, Tony and I are very proud of you. I know you will kick ass in Houston...Best of Luck
