Waldorf, MD super lightweight Mike "Yes, Indeed" Reed scored a second-round TKO over Yardley Cruz of Las Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico on April 25th at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, CA.
Reed battered Cruz all throughout the contest, landing lefts and rights at will. Cruz was a punching bag with feet as he took all the punishment in the bout. Cruz never went down but he was in no condition to continue and referee Edward Hernandez stopped the bout at 1:45 seconds of the second round.
The win breaks a two-bout losing streak for Reed and he is now 24-2, 13 KO's. Cruz is now 25-14, 15 KO's.
