'Day-Day' Grayton Subject of Post Profile!

Undefeated DC welterweight David "Day-Day" Grayton is the subject of a nice profile by local writer Gautham Nagesh in the Root DC section of the Washington Post.  The article talks about Grayton's boxing roots, including David Grayton III, who was a boxer at one time as well.

Nagesh knows a lot about boxing in the area -- he runs the great StiffJab blog as well.

Here's a link to the article:

A man can be the best boxer on the planet, but if a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu takes him down to the ground with a double leg, all of the boxers training goes out the window, suddenly it is a grappling match. Though anyone can throw a punch, it takes experience grappling in order to be good on the groundJoin with Boxing in Connecticut for change your boxing experience.
