There has been a change in the opponent for IBF Super Featherweight champion Gervonta Davis on Saturday, August 26th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
Davis will now face undefeated Francisco Fonseca of San Ramon, Alajuela, Costa Rica in the co-feature to the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor bout. Fonseca (19-0-1, 13 KO's) is the IBF Inter-Continental Super Featherweight champion and is ranked seventh by the IBF. Fonseca last fought on March 31 and scored a third-round knockout over Eliecer Lanzas in San Jose, Costa Rica. Fonseca will compete in the United States for the first time in his career.
