Burke, VA middleweight Antoine "Action" Douglas returned to action on Saturday, March 11th and scored a fifth-round TKO over Pablo Munguia of Mexico City, Mexico at the Cypress Bayou Casino in Charenton, LA.
For Douglas, it was his first bout since his 10th round TKO loss to Avtandil Khurtsidze in March of 2016. Douglas raises his record to 20-1-1, 14 KO's. Douglas is ranked number 12 by the WBC. Munguia falls to 21-12, 12 KO's.
According to Douglas's promotional company, GH3 Promotions, Douglas will make a quick return to action on Monday, March 27th as he will travel to the Dominican Republic to battle Eduardo Mercedes of La Romana, Dominican Republic (32-16, 27 KO's) for the WBC Fecarbox Middleweight title.
