Rivera Gets Ready for Bout against Siaca in Puerto Rico!

Charlottsville, VA middleweight George "Wartime" Rivera (right) poses with his opponent -- former WBA Super Middleweight champion Manny Siaca -- at the press conference concerning their 10-round bout Friday in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. The two men will battle for the WBA Fedecaribe Middleweight title.


The weigh-in took place earlier today. Rivera weighed in at 157 and Siaca tipped the scales at 160.

Is the fight card still on for Saturday on that Airforce base?

Don't know. I talked to the promoter over the weekend and he was having issues with Henderson Hall personnel. The card may not happen. I'll keep you posted.
