Tiara Brown Receives Key To Fort Myers, FL In Proclamation Ceremony!
Congratulations to Bladensburg, MD boxer "The Dark Menace" Tiara Brown who returned to her hometown of Fort Myers, FL to receive a very special honor.
The City Council of Fort Myers proclaimed April 16, 2018 as "Tiara Brown Day" in the city. Brown received the Key To The City from Mayor Randy Henderson. Brown earned the honor for her great work as an amateur boxer, winning a world championship as well as her community service work.
Brown has continued that service as she is a police officer in Washington, DC and turned pro in 2016. Brown is undefeated with a record of 4-0, two KO's.
The proclamations continue on Tuesday as IBF/WBA/IBO 154-Pound champion "Swift" Jarrett Hurd receives one from the Prince George's County Council in Upper Marlboro, MD at 1:15 PM ET at the County Administration Building.
