A. Guerrero Wins NABA Cruiserweight Title; C. McCalla Scores First-Round Stoppage In Delaware!

A great night for Beltway Boxers at the Chase Center in Wilmington, DE Friday night.

Undefeated Salisbury, MD cruiserweight Alex Guerrero won the vacant NABA Cruiserweight championship with an eight-round stoppage of Anthony Ferrante of Philadelphia, PA.   Guerrero dropped Ferrante in the sixth round.  Ferrante suffered a bad cut over one of his eyes and could not come out for the ninth round.

With the win, Guerrero is now 12-0-1, six KO's.  Ferrante, whose last victory came in Fort Washington, MD with a second-round knockout of Venroy July on October 24, is now 13-7, eight KO's.

Also on the card, Randallstown, MD welterweight Cecil McCalla remained undefeated needing just 47 seconds to knock out Francisco Javier "Pantera" Reza of Mexico.

McCalla dropped Reza twice with vicious right hands to earn the victory and raise his record to 20-0, seven KO's while Reza's record drops to 13-11, 10 KO's.
