Kevin "The Scarecrow" Womack, Jr. of Baltimore, MD battled to a four-round split draw against Anthony Prescott of Cherry Hill, NJ Saturday night at Riverwinds Community Center in West Deptford, NJ.
According to reporter JR Jowett, Womack used the jab from long range to take the first round. Prescott upped the pressure and landed some good overhand rights to take rounds two and three. Round four was very close, Prescott pressuring but not landing too cleanly with Womack did score some counters.
Womack won on one scorecard by shutout, 40-36. One judge scored for Prescott, 39-37 and one judge saw the draw at 38-38.
Womack is now 4-5-2, two KO's while Prescott is now 3-3-2, one KO.
