Veazey, Isley Advance to Finals of Junior Olympic Nationals!

Two Beltway Boxers have advanced to tonight's final round of the Junior Olympic National Championships in Charleston, WVA.

Joe Veazey of Pasadena, MD is in the championship of the 145-pound division by virtue of his 3-0 decision over Alan Lican of Grande Island, NE.  Troy Isley of Alexandria, VA advanced at 154 pounds with a 3-0 decision over Ray Shipp of St. Louis, MO.

Veazey will face Janelson Figueroa of Detroit, MI while Isley battles Manuel Rodriguez of Indio, CA in today's finals.

Kashif Muhammad-Brown of Upper Marlboro, MD lost his semifinal bout at 176 pounds via a 3-0 decision to two-time Junior Open champion Suray Mahmutovic of Sacramento, CA.
