Jeremy Trussell and David Rohn battled to a four-round majority draw.
Trussell came out very tentatively, perhaps with some of the caution coming from being knocked out in his last outing on April 12 at Patapsco Arena. He didn't seem to have the offensive firepower he normally shows. Trussell landed some good shots but not in combination like usual. Trussell got the nod on one scorecard, 39-37.
Rohn was able to land just enough punches to make things interesting as the other two judges saw the draw at 38-38.
Trussell is now 8-1-1, six KO's. Rohn is now 0-1-1, two NC's.
Next up is an all-Beltway battle as Seth "Killer Bee" Billups of Ashburn, VA takes on Benjamin "Wildcat" Olinga of DC. Four rounds, junior welterweights.
