Glenn Dezurn, Jr. scored a crushing second-round knockout over Cody Fuller in the opening bout.
Dezurn was in complete control of the contest, landing hard shots to the body and head and moving Fuller all around the ring.
Just as we wondered whether Dezurn had enough power to put Fuller away, he answered the question emphatically with a vicious chopping right hand that dropped Fuller to the canvas crossing his legs and making him minus one tooth. Referee Kenny Chevalier stopped the contest at 2:44 of the second.
Dezurn is now 3-0, two KO's. Fuller falls to 1-3.
Next up: Jeremy "The Truth" Trussell of Baltimore (8-1, six KO's) battles David "Rock Steady" Rohn of Villa Park, IL (0-1, two NC's). Four rounds, middleweights.
