Douglas Wins Interim Fecarbox Title With Eight-Round Unanimous Decision!

Burke, VA middleweight Antoine "Action" Douglas put on a dominant performance en route to an eight-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Marques "MD Goodnite" Davis of Tampa, FL Friday night at the Cook Convention Center in Memphis, TN.

Douglas was precise in his attack all evening, hitting Davis with shots from all angles.  At one point in the bout, Douglas landed 60 percent of his punches.  Two judges scored the bout a shutout at 80-72 while the other scored the bout 79-73.

Douglas claims the interim WBC Fecarbox Middleweight title and remains undefeated at 12-0, seven KO's.  Davis is now 8-1-2, five KO's.

As we mentioned earlier tonight, "The King's Son" Jerry Odom scored a third-round TKO over Demetrius Walker of Kansas City, MO.  Odom scored knockdowns in all three rounds before the Walker corner threw in the towel.  Odom is now 8-0, eight KO's.  Walker falls to 6-3-1, four KO's.

I disagree much with the previous comment. Action is developing very good and he is slowly been tested. That is the way a fighter is supposed to be brought up, rather than fighting bums over and over again like some of our DC fighter.

Action vs Dominic Wade very soon if they both keep winning

You can't steal someone if they left. See once again people ego on the line. Hey its many boxers out here that get hit with the kitchen sink and don't go down. That doesn't mean the other fighter sucks. Andre ward,Floyd,Sergio, and a list of others beat people down and they don't go down. Does that make them bad fighters. No. Oh by the way it seems like everything Douglas does you guy critic. I've never seen you guys speak good words about this kid. Damn if he was

stolen from Dc and this is how Dc treats him.

Ask yourself. Also jelly bean belt huh. Just a
few weeks ago I saw how you guys praised Phil Benson and Tony Jeter for winning the same belt Douglas won. Man if that's not throwing a stone. You people need to realize your full of hate. Dmv ain't never supporting there guys. Always trashing them. Boy but you guys will praise others to spite a few. Stop with all this.

I love coming to this site I know there will always be some crazy Shit on here. I think Douglas looked good on his fight. There where signs that he should have done other things. But in all he did good. The commentators mention things and they also said the like him and he has a future. His punch count was ridiculous and his stamina was great. I look at it as a kid who is growing and is learning the right way. Hey kid keep up the good work. I like what I saw and can't wait to see you and many other DMV cats on TV. Hey you must be doing something right. There talking about you. Coach Chris

Gary I know you like all this attention you get on your blog. But I've seen you sometimes speak up about boxers. Why don't you ever speak up for Douglas? Its like you like they bash this kid. I know its not your fault but if your a boxing analyst. You should speak up for all boxers not some. You watched the fight and I know you know the kid. You know all the fighters in Dmv but I've never heard you say anything good about this kid. Man it starts some where.

Great weekend for DMV boxers. Congrats to all of you that fought last week. Class of 2012 kids are doing a great job. Keep up the good work. On TV and off tv. Soon we will have all the belts in the Dmv.

I think the fact that I said he had a dominant performance shows me speaking up for him. Also, I did pick him as one of the best prospects of 2013. I've always thought highly of Douglas.

Well that was funny jelly bean belt. Dmv is the home of the jelly bean belts. Ha three jelly bean champions. Phil Benson, Tony Jeter, Antoine Douglas. Jelly crew.

At 160 phil will knock both them slam the fuck out and be king of the jelly bean

Phil couldn't make 160 if he wanted to. There is room for all these fighters to get some attention, i don't know why do much hate.

Finally seen the fight and my opinion is Douglas lacks power and take to many punches. Good part he's still young and throws good combinations.

Cause he be slapping and fights like he's still in the silver gloves

If you're a boxer/coach, and you are talking shit about the current aforementioned fighter. All you have to do is bring your fighter that you think can be him or whatever coaching skills you have and lets see what happens. And it's obvious that he's not a D.C fighter, because they all fight the same, because if you beat one you can beat them all with that lazy ass over and under style.
